2012 Stamp 02 – Olympic Games

RPoS Summer Olympic Games Stamp

Commemorating the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London, the Royal Post o f Serendip is pleased to release our second stamp for 2012.  The second stamp is for international postage at the valued of one US dollar ($1.00).  The stamp measures 1.25-inches by 2.63-inches.  The stamp will be issued both as singles and in sheets of 18 stamps.

The design features a Grecian style drawing of four runners capturing the excitement  and athleticism of the Olympic Games.  The SPoS believes in the Olympic Ideal: bringing the world together in peace for amicable athletic competitions allowing the world the opportunity to pause and reflect on what we all have in common, rather that what separates us.

2012 Stamp 01 – Cairn Stamp

The first issue of stamps for the RPoS is for international postage at the value of one US dollar ($1.00).  The stamp measures 1.25-inches by 2-inches.  The stamp will be issued both in sheets of 24 and as singles.

The design is a photograph of a cairn on the coast of the San Francisco Bay.  The maker of the cairn is unknow, but the photograph is by HSH David.  Cairn are elemental structures.  Making them is instinctive.  They are deep and meaningful.  This cairn, and others in the cluster were demolished by the Emeryville Department of Public Works.

This stamp is not yet for sale.
